Thinking of a Master Cleanse

Although I’ve always eaten pretty healthy, I do cleanses from time to time to wipe out all the junk that has accumulated in my body. There are all kinds of cleanses now that involve real food such as the raw food cleanse and the cleverly titled Food-Lovers Cleanse. But me, I’m a Master Cleanse kind of gal. Blend lemon juice, water, maple syrup and a dash of cayenne pepper, drink at every meal. It’s like Drano for the body {corrrrn nuttttts} and makes me feel great afterward. The longest I’ve ever been able to do it is 3 days but you can go as far as 21 {yikes!}. I haven’t done one in years and I’m thinking it’s time. Also, my apologies to the g-d Rakim for the title of this post.

… but I forgive Beyonce anyway. New video came out today {or maybe last night, not sure. I worked late} and I’m super into it. I really want to learn the dances. Remember trying to learn dances from videos? Anyone? Anyone? Just me? Okay then.

More Frank Lucas than Ludacris

If you browse through some of the archives on here you’ll discover that my Jay-Z obsession is not something that I even kind of try to hide. I haven’t even finished the book yet {mostly because I’m reading at least 3 other books right now too, a habit I tend to have}, which thus far is genius, and now he comes out with a lifestyle website?! Okay so it was a few months ago but I was on a blawg hiatus and I’m trying not to do catch-up posts but this one is totally necessary. Anyway, I’m under no impression that he’s like doing the web design and hand selecting every single thing that goes on there {same with Kanye’s blog and fuck Kanye btw} but it clearly has his vibe going on. You should definitely check it out. Also, I’m in love with this picture of him that I found today:

New NBC show with Will Arnett and Christina Applegate, featuring Maya Rudolph. I’m pretty into it. Will it be the new Parks and Rec {which is the new 30 Rock which was the new The Office}?

I may be more obsessed with brass knuckles than the 10 Deep crew. I may or may not own a legit pair of them. May … or may not. Anyhoo, how friggin’ tough is this lighter from Blackmeans? I saw it on some blog and was like gimme gimme gimme dat.
